Check back soon to see our Performance Schedule. We have an incredible lineup of local bands and performers to keep you entertained all weekend.

The original artwork for the 2010 Redding Ink Convention was created by BRANDON BRACAMONTE from Fallen Angel Tattoo (Citrus Heights, CA).

ART FUSION is a collaborative project created by four individual artists. Rotating at timed intervals, each artist begins and ends on the same piece, which takes just under an hour to complete. Some of the artwork will be kept by the originating artists and some, like previous years, will be auctioned to benefit local charities.

TEBORI is traditional Japanese hand tattooing. This technique of tattooing arose in the late 18th and early 19th century in Japan, with the appearance of professional tattoo artists in the capital city of Edo. Many artists praise it for its ability to create subtle gradations of tone that are difficult to achieve with a machine. We are fortunate to have Tebori artist Horisuzu from Black Rabbit Tattoo (Bend, OR) joining us again this year. He has studied this art form in Japan and received his professional title from Ryugen of Tokyo.

SCARIFICATION (according to the BME Encyclopedia) is the creative and artistic applicatioon of scars in a controlled manner to achieve an aesthetically or spiritually pleasing result. Dave Gillstrap and Shon Dolcini, from Kustom Kuts (San Rafael, CA) have been scarification artists since 2001. This will be their fourth year of creating strikingly unique artwork at Redding Ink.

REDDING INK GIRLS are friends of ours who will be available all weekend to provide directions and answer any questions you might have. We still have a few openings, so if you'd like to be a part of the team, please contact Billy at 530-953-5013 or billybones@reddingink.com. You'll gain free entry all weekend and have a great time, too.

This year's BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS CLASS will begin at 4:00pm on Friday, September 17th. This class will be held via the American Red Cross and lasts two hours. To register, contact Billy at 530-953-5013 or billybones@reddingink.com. Please make sure your local laws recognize this course.
