Art Fusion is a collaborative art project created by four individual artists. Each artist begins and ends on the same piece, making it more "theirs" and they are allowed to keep those pieces. Saturday night's project — all four pieces — will be auctioned with the proceeds going entirely to charities. The first Art Fusion project on Friday will be spearheaded by Metamorphic Tattoo from San Jose. Please let us know if you want to be a part of one of the sessions.
DETAILS:
Four artists work on each Art Fusion session, which will take just under an hour to complete.
Each Artist begins on an empty piece and is given 12 minutes.
All Artists then rotate to the next piece. There they are each given 8 minutes.
Rotate again. 8 minutes with the next piece.
Rotate again. 8 minutes with the next piece.
Rotate again. Now they are all at their original pieces. They get 12 minutes to finish them.
Friday:
Andy and the Metamorphic Tattoo guys will lead the session. Artists keep the artwork and do what they want with it.
Saturday:
First one at 3pm. Artists keep the artwork and do what they want with it.
2nd one at 630pm. Pieces will be auctioned off and proceeds from the 4 individual pieces will go to one of four charities we have chosen. |
